At the mouth of the Bluestone River on Bluestone Lake, Bluestone State Park is among the the most popular destinations for fishing in the West Virginia park system. Its proximity to lake and stream fishing areas on the New and Greenbrier rivers attracts anglers year-round, though Bluestone is also a popular destination for camping and cabin vacations. Tents and RVs are accommodated at 77 campsites in three primary campgrounds, and another 47 primitive camping areas are located across the Bluestone River and are accessible only by boat. A restaurant, 26 cabins, and eight miles of hiking trail are among the park's chief attractions.

Directions: Bluestone State Park is located south of , and north of , in central Summers County, near the junction of the Bluestone Region, the Greenbrier Valley Region, and the New River Gorge Region in southern West Virginia.
