The twin falls for which Twin Falls Resort State Park is named are among many scenic landmarks featured in this forested mountain preserve. Rock formations, rural cemeteries, and the much-photographed Pioneer Farm attract sightseers and historians to the park year-round.
Fourteen vacation cottages, a 50-site campground, and the 47-room Twin Falls Lodge and restaurant accommodate overnight guests, many of whom golf at the park's 18 hole course, swim in its outdoor and indoor pools, and hike and bike on its more than 20 miles of trail. Though forested, the park area had been farmed in the 1800s, which is why several cemeteries exist amid its woodlands.
