The 22,928-acre East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is forested in oak and hickory. Game traditionally taken in the management area include bear, deer, grouse, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, turkey, and waterfowl. East Lynn Lake, at 1,005 acres, and Lick Creek Pond, five acres, accommodate fishing for trout, bass, crappie, muskellunge, and channel catfish. The tailwaters of East Lynn Lake are stocked with trout from February until May. Lick Creek Pond is stocked from January until April. More than 160 primitive campsites have been established in the management area.

Directions: East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Area is located in southern Wayne County southwest of . Access to the northern end of the lake is by highway WV-37, while its southern reaches are accessible by highway WV-152.

East Lynn Lake WMA is managed by the W.Va. Division of Natural Resources. It was formerly known as the East Lynn Lake Public Hunting & Fishing Area. The lake and management area are so-named for the adjacent community of East Lynn, WV.
