Crab Orchard, West Virginia (WV), is a community on Crab Orchard Creek in Raleigh County. The town was named for Crab Orchard Creek, a tributary of Piney Creek which courses through the community. Crab Orchard was settled in part by members of the , also known as Dunkers or Dunkards or German Baptist Brethren. Highway WV-16 courses through the community between Beckley, West Virginia, and .
