Ghent, West Virginia (WV), an unincorporated community on Flat Top Mountain in Raleigh County, may be best known as the location of Winterplace Ski Resort. The community weathers some of heaviest snows in southern West Virginia in winter. Flat Top Lake, a master-planned residential community, was established at Ghent in 1967.
