from the Class VI River Runners’ campus
near the New River Gorge Bridge. Our
upscale buffet dinner menus may include
delicious entrees such as stuffed leg of
lamb, blue marlin, prime ribs, barbequed
ribs, smoked chicken, corn breaded
catfish, pan-fried trout, and a medley of
classic cuisine to match your wilderness
adventure. Browse an exceptional salad bar
stocked with fresh local herbs, greens,
and vegetables. Adjacent Chetty's Pub
provides an evening getaway featuring

domestic, and imported beers. Smokey's
Dinner Hours: Weekends starting in April,
then 7 days a week from May 1st
- Labor Day, open 5-8 p.m. Sun.-Thur. and
5-9 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Gauley Season (Sept.
& Oct.) we are open 5-9 p.m. Fri.-Mon.
Breakfast is provided to Class VI guests
one hour prior to their launch time.

Tamarack's "Taste of West
Virginia" food court managed by The
Greenbrier. Only 15-minutes north of
Winterplace ski resort, the court offers a
sampling of gourmet and down-home foods
for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast includes such West Virginia
favorites as egg biscuits with savory
country ham and cheese, and fried green
tomatoes, fresh apple fritters, and
country gravy. For lunch or dinner, sample
Tamarack's award-winning "Jake's
Chili" fresh West Virginia's own
"Jarroll's Italian Sausage," or
a fried-green-tomato sandwich with Swiss
cheese, bacon, and raspberry
honey-mustard. Local favorites include
West Virginia rainbow trout and Tamarack's
barbecue sandwich. Of course, your meal
would be remiss without dessert -- perhaps
homemade cobbler or The Greenbrier's
famous bread pudding with vanilla sauce.
Tamarack is open January-March 8 a.m. to 7
p.m. and April-December 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
