Timberline Ski Area

The slopes at Timberline Four-Seasons Resort look eastward across the vale of the Blackwater River and the central Canaan Valley, an outdoor-recreation destination that Timberline shares with two other ski areas and a national wildlife refuge. Timberline is privately operated and accommodates resort residency.

Timberline features 36 downhill ski slopes, tubing and sledding areas, restaurants, clubs, and conference facilities, 17 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, and slope-side homes and condominiums.

The ski area is located in Tucker County in the Allegheny Highlands Region of eastern West Virginia.
