Reconciliation Arch at Camp Chase Cemetery

Tyler Childers performs on Mountain Stage.

A reconciliation arch was erected in the early 20th century, above the stone that marks the resting place of about 2,260 Confederates who died in the Camp Chase Prison Camp in the last years of the war. The white stone markers indicate the names and home states of the dead. (Photo by William Kerrigan)
