    Highland Scenic Highway Map

    The summits of the Yew Mountains rise to more than 4,500 feet along the Highland Scenic Highway.

    The highland scenic highway travels through some of the highest elevations in West Virginia, ascending from Richwood, in the west to a junction with US-219 in the east. The highland sections of the route may be impassable in winter due to snow. Snow removal is not provided on that leg of the route.
