Fayetteville, W.Va., to host glow-in-the-dark egg hunt

To raise money for a March 31 children's egg hunt, organizers in Fayetteville, West Virginia, will host a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for adults on March 24.

Given the community's penchant for the uncoventional, the event should be an enormous success, and 100 participants as well as spectators are already expected, says Tabitha Stover, executive director of the .

"We will have hundreds of eggs hidden all over. Eggs will be filled with sweet treats and many of the eggs will be filled with coupons to redeem egg-cellent prizes donated by local businesses," she said of the event.

To be hosted at Fayetteville Town Park at 8 p.m., tickets are $10 each or $15 for two, and participants must be 18 or older.

"We are a town where folks work hard, but we don't forget to play hard, and what better way to do that than with a bunch of adults embracing their inner child and enjoying the thrill of a good egg hunt?" Stover said.

"We are lucky to have a strong, fun-loving community that embraces events that are uniquely suited to Fayetteville."
