Bald Knob is the name of several upland landmarks in West Virginia.
Bald Knob, or Old Baldy, is a high hill overlooking the Kanawha River in Kanawha County near Dupont City, West Virginia. The summit rises 1,250 feet above sea level, visibly higher than surrounding peaks and ridges. Its eastern slope rises steeply from the river to a peak which for many years remained treeless. A series of trails ascend to the summit.
