Other Parks

Parks and preserves in West Virginia protect many resources for the public benefit but may not be part of larger state or national park systems. These may include small wayside picnic areas or larger parks and preserves managed by counties, municipalities, and school districts or private or intergovernmental agencies. Such parks may be found throughout West Virginia.
