Sign up for the West Virginia Explorer newsletter by January 15, 2018, and be entered to win a two-day, two-night ski getaway at Canaan Valley Resort & Conference Center.

The drawing is one of many annual drawings offered to recipients of the West Virginia Explorer newsletter, according to publisher and editor-in-chief David Sibray.

"Once you're signed up as a newsletter recipient, you'll automatically be entered in our drawings," Sibray said.

"I'd like to thanks the team at Canaan Valley for providing for this drawing as well as years of support of West Virginia Explorer."

Sibray said the two-day, two-night mid-week getaway for two includes two nights of lodging shared in a queen room, two-day ski-lift tickets (rentals not included), a one-to-two-hour ice-skating session (skate rentals included), a one-to-two-hour tubing session, and Beech Club privileges, including access to its indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, and fitness center.

Advanced reservations are required and subject to availability. All lodging associated with this package will be provided midweek (Sunday through Thursday) and on non-holidays, which includes President's Weekend (Feb. 17-18). Guests have the option to upgrade accommodation types to a weekend stay and pay the difference.

Please see the newsletter subscription page for drawing details.
