Designed for children ages 2 to 12, the playground features a rock-and-rope climbing unit, a multi-slide play structure, swings with ADA- and infant-accessible options, and a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round.

Dillard Price, acting chief of West Virginia State Parks, said the playground is an important addition to the park, which is being made more inclusive, and is providing an accessible playground in an area where it's needed.

“This new playground represents a significant step forward in making Chief Logan State Park more welcoming and inclusive,” Price said. “We’re proud to provide a place where children of all abilities can play together in West Virginia’s great outdoors.”
