The Sutton National Historic District at Sutton, West Virginia, in Braxton County, includes a mix of more than 80 civic, commercial, religious, and residential structures on and near the Elk River and includes the Elk River Bridge, the Braxton County Courthouse, and the Sutton Methodist Episcopal Church. Many of its commercial buildings incorporate local stone and brick in Romanesque and Greek Revival architectural styles.
