Paddleboats, picnics, and biking are favorite activities at 562-acre Little Beaver State Park near Beaver, West Virginia, in Raleigh County. Little Beaver features an 18-acre lake, popular with those hoping to catch bass, crappie, channel cats, bluegill and trout, from either the shore or one of the park's rowboats available for rental.

Miles of hiking and mountain biking trails surround the park, making it a popular recreation destination. Visitors will also find paddleboat rentals, picnic shelters, playgrounds, geocaching, an activities building, and beach swimming. Once popular as strictly a day-use area, Little Beaver opened a campground in 2011 featuring 46 campsites.
