The Master of Social Work program at Concord University has been recognized as one of the top online programs in the nation by Learn.org, according to university officials.
Concord ranked 20 among the 25 schools that made the organization's 2020 "Best Master’s in Social Work Online Programs" list, according to Dr. C. Scott Inghram, an associate professor and the program's director.
Concord is the only West Virginia college or university named to the list, he said.
“We are pleased to learn that our program was once again recognized as a top online Master of Social Work program,” Inghram said.
“Our program is designed to prepare highly qualified rural social work professionals and we appreciate Learn.org’s acknowledgment of this endeavor.”
Learn considered hundreds of universities across the country and selected Concord University based on academic and career resources, the quality of education and faculty.
