Coal Fork, West Virginia (WV), is an unincorporated community in Kanawha County named for its situation on the mouth of the Coal Fork of Campbells Creek. a tributary of the Kanawha River. Formerly a coal camp, the community is now part of a larger suburb of the Charleston metropolitan area. The Big Coal Fork and Little Coal Fork drain the northern flank of Malden Mountain northeast of Malden, West Virginia.
