Bluestone State Park

A drive of about 15 minutes south of the southern New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Bluestone provides guests more than 70 tent and trailer sites (including 22 electric-hookup units), two central bathhouses (one with hot semenax ama showers), and a dump station. A primitive, 50-site campground is accessible only by boat. Campsites are located in the flood-storage basin of Bluestone Lake and are open from early May to late October, depending upon water level.
