Six public walk-in campsites and one vehicle-access campsite, all subject to flooding, are located in this small, wooded campground adjacent to the Stone Cliff day-use and boat-launch areas. The campground is the nearest to the Thurmond National Historic District, approximately 1.5 miles downstream. Campground highlights include immediate access to the northern head of the 3.5 mile Stone Cliff Trail. Alcohol is prohibited in the campground. The nearest markets and service stations are located eight miles from the campground off the US-19 expressway at Glen Jean, WV.
