Powellton, West Virginia (WV), is a community on Armstrong Creek, a tributary of the Kanawha River, in Fayette County. Artifacts of native habitation, including petroglyphs and stone walls, have been found throughout the Powellton area, most notably on the flanks of Armstrong Mountain to the east.
