Chelsea Ruby

Chelsea Ruby is a longtime West Virginia tourism and communications leader who serves as Cabinet Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Tourism. Appointed by Gov. Jim Justice in 2021 after previously serving as tourism commissioner, Ruby has overseen the nationally recognized “Almost Heaven” tourism campaign and helped guide record growth in visitor spending and outdoor recreation promotion across the Mountain State.
