Marc Harshman

Marc Harshman is an award-winning poet, children’s author and storyteller who has served as West Virginia’s poet laureate since 2012. Widely regarded as one of Appalachia’s leading literary voices, Harshman’s work explores memory, landscape, family and rural life through poetry rooted in the culture of the Mountain State.
