Advertising Sales Associate
WVExplorer.com is looking for advertising sales associates to help advertisers reach our audience of more than 90,000 monthly readers. Applicants must have advertising sales experience and a working understanding of West Virginia tourism and digital marketing.
Associates will be responsible for creating and retaining advertising business and will be expected to make cold calls, build relationships, and prospect for new customers. Prior experience in media advertising is required. Associates will be able to work remotely.
Successful applicants will be expected to prospect weekly, employing online resources, phones, emails, and social media. They are expected to act as the liaison between advertisers, our billing department, and our graphic design team. Associates are employed as independent contractors and paid an industry-standard commission.
