The development team at West Virginia Explorer relies chiefly on contributing writers to provide much of its editorial content. Contributions may be incorporated as part of our encyclopedic content, in which case no author is listed, or as an article or series of articles, in which case the author may receive a byline. The specific terms of publication are approached on a case-by-case basis by the editor-in-chief and the author or authors.
All contributions that the editor-in-chief agrees to publish become the sole property of West Virginia Explorer and are subject to editing and revision at will by the editor-in-chief or by his or her agents.
West Virginia Explorer reserves the right to edit and revise all submissions and contributions for style, grammar, and punctuation according to our house style and by the direction of The Associated Press Stylebook and Briefing on Media Law.
