The 31-acre Valley Bend Wildlife Management Area (WMA) ranges across two wetlands on the . A 10-acre natural wetland and an eight-acre artifical wetland flood seasonally. Game traditionally hunted in the management area includes waterfowl and migratory birds, though hunting is limited as a result of the relatively small size of the area. Tygart Valley River accommodates fishing for trout, bass, and panfish. Camping is prohibited in the management area.

Location: The Valley Bend Wetland Wildlife Management Area is located in central Randolph County approximately three miles north of , and seven miles south of . The wetland is located  on highway US-219 (US-250).

The Valley Bend Wetland WMA is managed by the W.Va. Division of Natural Resources. It was formerly known as the Valley Bend Wetland Public Hunting & Fishing Area.
