Pictures of the mill appear in art and travel guides throughout the world. More than 4,000 acres of forest and stream attract visitors to the Babcock, which adjoins the New River Gorge National River. Other park amenities include a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and fishing lake. Adventureres often trek to the ghost town of Sewell, West Virginia, in the remote lower park.
