
Barboursville, West Virginia
Barboursville, WV (West Virginia), is an incorporated community in Cabell County established on the Guyandotte River in 1813. The town was named for James Barbour, governor of Virginia from 1812 until 1814. It became the county seat in 1814 and remained so until the seat was moved to Huntington in 1887. It may be best known as home of the Barboursville Mall and the West Virginia Veteran’s Home.

The town is on highway US-60 and the I-77 expressway approximately five miles east of Huntington, West Virginia, and 11 miles west of Milton, West Virginia.
