Rivesville, West Virginia (WV), a community in Marion County, was established in 1837, incorporated in 1875, and named in honor of William Cabell Rives, a U.S. Senator from West Virginia. The community is situated on the westward bank of the Monongahela River below the mouth of Pawpaw Creek and upstream of Pricketts Fort State Park. Highway US-19 follows the river through the town.
