Black Fork Falls at Twin Falls

The twin falls for which Twin Falls Resort State Park is named are among many scenic landmarks featured in this forested mountain preserve. Rock formations, rural cemeteries, and the much- photographed Pioneer Homestead museum attract sightseers and historians to the park year-round. Fourteen vacation cottages, a 50-site campground, and the 47-room Twin Falls Lodge and restaurant accommodate overnight guests, many of who golf at the park’s 18 hole course, swim in its outdoor pool, or hike and bike more than 20 miles of trail. Thought forested, the park area had been farmed in the 1800s, which is why so many cemeteries exist amid its woodlands.
